We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Sales Engineer to support our inside sales team in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Sales Engineer will bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs, providing pre-sales support, product demonstrations, and technical guidance to ensure successful adoption of our RF spectrum analysis and signal processing solutions. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, customer-facing skills, and collaboration with internal teams to meet sales goals.

- Technical Support for Sales: Partner with inside sales team members to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and demonstrate the value of our SCEPTRE software, MONARCH systems, and other RF solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical consultations to showcase how our solutions address customer challenges in RF spectrum monitoring, geolocation, and signal analysis.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate customer needs into tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with client specifications and use cases.
- Proposal Support: Assist in creating technical proposals, responding to RFPs, and preparing detailed documentation to support the sales process.
- Training and Enablement: Provide training and technical guidance to customers and internal sales staff on product features, capabilities, and best practices.
- Market Feedback: Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and enhance our offerings.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and supporting long-term partnerships.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Work with the sales team to track opportunities, update CRM systems, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees or certifications in RF engineering or signal processing are a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or related role, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or RF technology sectors.
- Familiarity with RF spectrum analysis, signal processing, or ELINT/SIGINT applications.
- Experience supporting inside sales teams with technical expertise and customer-facing activities.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of RF systems, signal processing, or software-defined radio (SDR) technologies.
- Familiarity with tools like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or related lab equipment.
- Experience with software solutions like SCEPTRE or similar platforms is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Other Requirements:
- Eligibility for U.S. security clearance is required due to the nature of our customer base.
