3dB Labs is a growing Defense Contractor focusing on Digital Signal Processing Software with a diverse customer base.  We are looking for a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO/ISSM) to run our day-to-day and systems security needs.

This person will implement security processes necessary to protect classified systems and networks, with strict adherence to NISPOM, ICDs, and other applicable Executive Orders and DOD regulations. You will coordinate and work directly with the government customer and government support offices, information technology staff, and company managers for all security-related issues. The ISSO will assist in the development of information system documentation such as system security plans, security control assessments, and any relevant plans of action and milestones.  You will support both DoD and IC Community Security programs. 

  • Perform ISSO duties of establishing and administering appropriate security systems, policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with applicable government and corporate directives, guidelines, and customer contractual requirements.
  • Perform security audits in accordance with corporate and government compliance policies DFARS, NIST 800-53A, and NIST 800-171.
  • Lead all aspects of SSP development, maintenance, accreditation/re-accreditation, and oversight, including conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance. Will use Intelligence Community Risk Management policies and systems.
  • Manage company’s CMMC implementation and continued compliance.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs of Windows and Linux systems.
  • Lead contact for IS security inspections, tests, and reviews by oversight authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Technical field and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
    • Additional years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Possess or ability to obtain a security+ 8570 certification within 6 months date of hire.
  • Familiarity with IC RMF functions and systems is a plus.
