3dB Labs is a growing Defense Contractor focusing on Digital Signal Processing Software and Hardware with a diverse customer base.  We are looking for a Production Lead to join our production team as we grow and scale our capabilities. 

As lead of the Production team, you will support the day-to-day engineering team in both a hardware and software based technology environment. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines.

The Production lead will work alongside the team to help us build out and fulfill our ongoing product needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist engineering and production team in creating, testing, and modifying products
  • Help create production plans for new product lines
  • Plan and coordinate production schedules for standard product and software orders to deliver quality products on-schedule
  • Supervise production team members
  • Collaborate with quality team to ensure products meet required specifications and comply with quality standards
  • Monitor production performance and processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Allocate resources to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Ensure customer expectations for standard product and software orders are met
  • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures
  • Implement and enforce safety measures to protect team members in production space
  • Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar
  • 8-10 years experience in production operations (high-mix low-volume manufacturing or make-to-order manufacturing)
  • ERP and MRP experience, Deltek Preferred
