Product Quote & Customer Support Specialist

West Chester, OH
Full Time
Entry Level
3dB Labs is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Product Quote & Customer Support Specialist to help customers get accurate and timely quotes for our products.

We are looking for someone who is good at working with customers, gathering information, staying organized, solving problems, and following tasks through to completion. We will provide training to help you learn our products and how they are configured. In this role, you will work with customers and teams across the company to understand what is needed, prepare quotes, answer routine questions, and make sure opportunities continue moving forward. This could be a great fit for someone with experience in quoting, estimating, inside sales, customer service, sales support, purchasing, account support, or operations who enjoys learning new products and working with a variety of people.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes for 3dB Labs products and solutions.
  • Gather the information needed to build a quote, including quantities, product options, customer requirements, pricing, and delivery needs.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Production, Business Development, and Field Applications when additional information is needed.
  • Communicate directly with customers to clarify what they need and answer routine questions.
  • Learn our products well enough to explain common options and help customers identify solution.
  • Bring technical or unusual customer questions to the appropriate internal expert when needed.
  • Review quotes for accuracy and make sure they follow company pricing and product guidelines.
  • Follow up on open quotes so customers receive the information they need and opportunities do not stall.
  • Keep quote and customer information organized and up to date in company systems.
  • Help improve our quoting process, templates, instructions, and internal resources.
  • Prepare basic reports showing quote activity, response times, and other useful information.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong customer service skills and a desire to help people solve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage several quotes, requests, or priorities at the same time.
  • Comfort asking questions and working with different teams to find answers.
  • Ability to learn new products, processes, and software tools.
  • Experience in quoting, estimating, customer service, sales support, purchasing, operations, account management, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Helpful, But Not Required
  • Experience preparing customer quotes or estimates.
  • Experience supporting sales teams or customer accounts.
  • Experience working with products that have multiple options or configurations.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, technology, electronics, government customers, or other complex products.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship, ticketing, quoting, or project-tracking systems.
  • An interest in learning how hardware and software products work together.
  • Comfort learning enough about a product to explain common options to customers.
Prior software, engineering, or highly technical experience is not required.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
